Sturdy, stores a ton of wine, allows for odd shaped bottles too.
By Scott M.
Bought this as in my basement I have larger similar style racks I use for brewing equipment and food storage and I needed something big enough to hold some champagne bottles that didn’t fit in my plain wood wine rack.
These racks are really easy to put together, one thing I do with them is use a rubber mallet to ensure a tight, level “seal” on the connectors for the shelves. The rubber mallet is also a great way to remove and adjust the shelves later on without getting pinched. Took me about 10 minutes, as I was trying to get the spacing perfect for my needs.
I have about 47 bottles stored on this right now, with an opening here and there for more. With normal, level sided 750ml wine bottles you can stack them on this rack, allowing you to store a lot more than the 9 per shelf in the description. This sucker is sturdy too, so I’m not worried at all about the extra weight. I’ve uploaded a shot of how I’m using it to store 750ml wine bottles, champagne bottles, and a few good limited run beers as well.

Great, simple wine rack for storage
I was looking for something simple, sturdy and having a reasonable capacity. It was going to be placed in my basement out of sight, so it did not have to look pretty to display the bottles. Basically I had a large party and had a lot of excess wine to store and this wine rack fit the bill. No-tool assembly and easy leg leveling adjustment too. I had a number of 1.5L bottles and Riesling bottles so I was concerned about the racks ability to store them. I’ve uploaded two pictures. The first shows how the 1.5L bottles fit and how you can stack a second row. The second photo shows it fully loaded and I pushed the Riesling bottles to the back edge of the rack so you can judge the space available. If you just need out of sight wine storage this is perfect. If you aren’t too fussy about looks, this chrome wire rack would also fit the bill for “upstairs” storage. Very good bang for the buck.

Solidly made rack for my wine collection
By I’m not an internet shopaholic –
Solidly made rack. I recently purchased 3 of these Trinity EcoStorage 4-Tier Wine Rack and built 2 racks with 6 shelves each and left with 4 extra poles. Each shelf was high enough for my biggest 750ml wines with about 2″ to spare but I cannot comment with the larger 1.5 liter magnum bottles. I did not want to double/triple stack my bottles on each shelf so that I can see the row of bottles with the labels facing up at a glance. It was easy to set up like many of similar wire racks. It came with a extra black slip sleeve and a set of pole connectors if one wants to stack the 4 poles for double the height.
With each wine rack holding 6 shelves, it is heavy enough to add stability but manageable to move around (without the bottles, of course). With the adjustable feet, this completes the pleasing looking chrome finished rack. Almost purchased the more expensive wooden wine racks but was not sold on the “pigeon hole” design. I prefer to see my bottles and labels even thought it may require the occasional dusting.
